Bookings, Check-ins, and Pick-ups
- Booking Process:
- All bookings must be made through our official booking platform or directly with our team.
- A deposit is required to confirm your reservation, with an option to pay in full.
- We will confirm availability and provide details within 24 hours of receiving your booking. If unavailable, we will suggest an alternative or issue a full refund of your deposit.
- Check-in Requirements:
- Guests must check in at our boat, located at Marina Fonatur, at least 30 minutes before their scheduled dive or training session.
- Our location can be found on Google Maps for easy navigation.
- Pick-up Services:
- Pick-up is available from select oceanfront accommodations south of our shop (e.g., Presidente Hotel, Secrets Aura Resort) for a fee of $0–$10 USD per person per day.
- Pick-up is available from select oceanfront accommodations north of our shop (e.g., Casa del Mar, El Cid, etc) for a fee of $5–$10 USD per person per day.
- Guests utilizing this service must speak with a staff member one day prior or on the first day of their dive schedule.
- Exception:
Guests who have prepaid their invoice in full, completed the digital liability release, and have their own gear may arrange for direct pick-up without a shop visit, subject to prior approval.
- Cruise Ship Passengers:
- We do not pick up from cruise terminals. Our shop is conveniently located a short taxi ride from International Cruise Terminal, Puerta Maya Terminal, and Punta Langosta.
- Cruise ship passengers must pay in full at the time of booking.
Scuba Diving Policy
- All certified divers must provide proof of certification from a recognized agency.
- All divers must complete the digital Boat Travel and Scuba Diving Liability Release before arrival.
Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park:
- Divers must adhere to the park’s rules and Cozumel Dive Center’s safety standards. Rules will be reviewed by your Divemaster and/or Instructor.
- Violations of park rules or safety standards may result in revoked diving privileges without a refund.
- Marine Park entrance fees are included in the price.
Pricing and Payments
- All prices are in USD.
- Accepted payment methods:
- Cash (USD or Pesos)
- Credit Cards, Venmo, CashApp, and ApplePay (5% processing fee applies)
- Full payment is due at check-in unless otherwise stated.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
General Policy:
- Full Refund:
- Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the first scheduled dive are eligible for a full refund of the deposit. Refunds will be processed within 15 days.
- Processing fees are non-refundable.
- Partial Refund:
- Cancellations made less than 7 days but more than 48 hours prior to the first scheduled dive will receive a 50% refund of the deposit.
- No Refund:
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior, same-day cancellations, and no-shows are non-refundable.
- Cruise Ship Passengers:
- Refunds are not available for cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the dive, regardless of itinerary changes, delays, or mechanical issues.
Weather-Related Cancellations:
- If the Cozumel Harbor Master closes the port due to bad weather, guests may reschedule at no additional cost or receive a full refund.
Rescheduling:
- Last-minute rescheduling (within 48 hours) may incur a 20% rebooking fee, subject to availability.
Important Information for Divers
- Morning trips: Check-in at 8:00 AM, Departure at 8:30 AM
- Afternoon trips: Check-in at 1:30 PM, Departure at 2:00 PM
- No grace period is offered for late arrivals. Boats leave promptly at scheduled departure times.
Refunds will not be provided for missed trips due to tardiness or failure to meet at the designated location on time.
